Support the SoHo Buiding Project
In 2005 the National Sculpture Society accepted the most extraordinary gift in its history - a three story building in the SoHo district of New York City. The gift was a bequest from Richard McDermott (aka 'Dick') Miller, who donated his former studio building to the organization upon his death.
As a board member and president, Dick Miller experienced first hand the Society's ongoing quest for suitable headquarters with exhibition space in New York City. It was his intention to provide a permanent home for the NSS.
The building is considered a significant structure by the Landmarks Preservation Department of New York City, and is located in the heart of a thriving neighborhood. The NSS Building Committee is working on plans to renovate the building so that it can provide a 21st century office, library and exhibition space for the organization, with sensitivity to its historic origins.
Please join us in taking a monumental step forward with a contribution to the SoHo Building Project.
